Pick DeBounce if…
- ▸You want to top up credits and never think about a subscription invoice again.
- ▸You need a paid API once your free-tier usage outgrows a browser CSV tool.
- ▸You're comfortable trading some disposable-domain coverage for lower per-email cost.
Pick Publish Now if…
- ▸You don't want to buy a credit pack just to find out whether bounces drop.
- ▸You'd rather skip the signup and clean a file before lunch.
- ▸Your bounce problem is mostly typos, dead domains, and broken MX - which our first pass already catches.
Frequently asked
Is Publish Now as accurate as DeBounce?
Close on the basics. DeBounce adds SMTP probing on top of MX which catches a few extra mailbox-level fails. Independent 2026 reviews flag DeBounce's disposable-domain coverage as a weaker spot, so if that's your worry, neither tool is a slam dunk.
Why is Publish Now free when DeBounce sells credit packs?
Credit packs fund infrastructure, support, and an API. We don't sell any of that - the validator is a free utility. The cost of running MX and DoH lookups for a CSV is small enough that we just absorb it.
Should I try Publish Now before buying DeBounce credits?
Yes. Clean the file with us for free, see how many addresses get flagged, then decide whether the remaining list is worth running through a paid SMTP probe. You might not need DeBounce at all.
Does Publish Now detect disposable email addresses?
We flag known disposable domains using a maintained list. The coverage is solid for common providers. Neither we nor DeBounce will catch every fresh throwaway domain that spun up last week.
Can I get an API from Publish Now like DeBounce offers?
Not for the validator. Our API is for social media posting. If you need a verification endpoint, DeBounce or Clearout are the right call.
